I actually think most of the time you should go to bed angry.
It's practically impossible to solve a conflict when you're both tired and cranky. Try again tomorrow when you're both well rested. If the options are solve it while tired and cranky or never solve it, it's better to solve it when you're tired. But you're grown-ass adults. Solve it tomorrow. You can do that. You have executive functioning. You can make plans and follow through on them. Make a plan to discuss it when you're both in a good state. I believe in your ability to do this simple thing.
