Me the first time I saw a woke mob saying you couldn't question alleged "victims": Oh shit. Sociopaths are so going to take advantage of this.
Memoir of professed sociopathic woman: When I was a teen I realized I could get anything I wanted by simply saying the person had sexually abused me. I started wielding this with power with abandon and it was awesome. Me: I was right. . . but somehow, I don't feel happy. Highly recommend the book "Confessions of a Sociopath" Especially recommend it if you're high on the altruism and authenticity spectrums. It's really important to remember ~1% of the population are diagnosably sociopathic, and a lot of rules are in place to try to prevent this group from causing even more chaos. One of the most common mistakes I see people make is doing typical mind fallacy, where they think that everybody is nice and good, and if they aren't, it's just because of understandable circumstances. That is true for most people. But far from all. And we have to set up rules taking into account everybody, not just most people.
